Reporting MOR & MIRKAM Scores to Academic Institutions

Acceptance to medical schools in Israel is determined by a combination of cognitive variables, i.e. scores based on knowledge and educational achievements (comprehensive score (sechem) from the bagrut and the Psychometric Test), and non-cognitive variables, i.e. scores based on personal and behavioral attributes (final score in the MOR and MIRKAM systems). Each educational institution makes the decision how to weight these scores on the basis of its own individual considerations.

As requested by the educational institutions, NITE communicates every item of information relevant to the application to study medicine to the medical schools to which the candidate has applied.
