How Is the Score for a MEIMAD Test Calculated?

Scores are calculated in a three-step process:

1. Calculation of the raw score - An examinee is credited with one point for each correct answer. The number of correct answers in each domain is equal to the raw score in that domain.
2. Calculation of the standard score - In order to enable comparison of scores of examinees who took different test forms in different languages on different test dates, the raw scores in each of the three test domains are converted to a uniform scale - the standard score scale. The scale for scores in each of the three domains is from 25 to 125.
3. Calculation of the MEIMAD general score - The final score is a weighted average of scores in the three domains that make up the test. The weight of the score in the Hebrew domain and the weight of the score in the mathematics section are twice the weight of the score in the English section.
   The final scores of the MEIMAD test are on a scale from 50 to 650.
