You may take the Psychometric Entrance Test (PET) in one of the following six languages:  Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, or the Combined/English version.  It is recommended that you take the test in the language in which you are most fluent.

The Combined/English version is designed for examinees whose first language is English, as well as those whose first language is not Hebrew but who are more fluent in Hebrew or English than in any of the other test languages.  This version provides the questions in both Hebrew and English, with selected words translated into Russian, German, Italian, Hungarian, Amharic, Portuguese, and Dutch.

The writing task must be written in the language in which the examinee is being tested.  Examinees taking the Combined/English version may complete the writing task in one of the following languages:  Hebrew, English, Russian, German, Italian, Hungarian, Amharic, Portuguese, or Dutch.

Please note:

  • Tests in languages other than Hebrew are not given on every test administration date. Check that the test is being given on the date you want in the language you want.

  • Tests in languages other than Hebrew are given only in certain locations. Therefore, if you have registered for the test in a language other than Hebrew, it may be that you will be assigned to a location other than the one you requested.

  • Test scores are not affected by the language in which you are tested.

  • In April 2017, the Psychometric Entrance Test will be given in Italian. It will  be held  in Israel and Italy.
