Typing the Essay on a Computer: YAELNET Test with Special Accommodations

At the end of the YAELNET you will be asked to write an essay. Most examinees handwrite their essay but some examinees who are eligible for special accommodations type their essay on a computer.

Essays are typed using the test’s software program.
You may become familiar with the software program and experiment with typing an essay by taking the practice YAELNET test.
