AMIRAM
A computerized version of the AMIR, that is, a test of English knowledge that is given by computer and is used by academic institutions for placement purposes.
Anyone interested in taking the AMIRAM may register for the test on the NITE website. Tests for those who register via the site will be administered at one of the NITE Test Centers across Israel.
From time to time, the AMIRAM is administered at institutions of higher education throughout Israel. To learn how to register for a test administered at an institution, please contact that institution. NOTE: you may take the AMIRAM as often as you like. At the same time, you must wait at least 35 days before taking the test again. This waiting period applies between two AMIRAM tests. If you do not wait 35 days to take another test, your test will be invalidated and you will not be entitled to a refund. If your test is invalidated, you will have to wait at least 35 days from the date of the invalidated test before you can take an English proficiency test (AMIRAM) again.
