Guidelines for Examinees: Spring (April) 2021 Administration of Tests with Special Accommodations

Ministry of Health regulations require all examinees being tested from April 4, 2021 onwards to abide by the following guidelines (additional information will be sent to all examinees via email).

Please note: These guidelines were set by the Ministry of Health. Any questions regarding their content should be directed to the “Voice of Health” (Kol HaBriut) call center.

  1. It is recommended that you arrive at the designated campus at least an hour before the start of the test. No private vehicles will be allowed entry.
  2. The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Ben-Gurion University in Be’er Sheva adhere strictly to Tav Yarok (“Green Pass”) regulations (see details below).
  3. Examinees may not be accompanied by family members or anyone else onto the campus.
  4. While you are on campus, you must wear a mask at all times, including during the entire test. According to the law, anyone who - for emotional, cognitive, or medical reasons - has significant difficulties with, or is prevented from, covering his mouth and nose, is exempt from wearing a mask.
  5. You must wash your hands with soap and water or disinfect them with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer before and after the test.
  6. You must maintain a distance of 2 meters between yourself and any other person.
  7. You may drink at your seat during the test, without receiving additional time. Eating in the classroom is not allowed.

 

Information for examinees at the NITE Center in Haifa:

  1. Directions to the Center can be found here.
  2. Entry to the Center is forbidden to anyone whose body temperature exceeds 38 deg C, who is coughing, or who has difficulty breathing (except for coughing or breathing difficulties resulting from a chronic condition such as asthma or another allergy) or anyone who is supposed to be in quarantine or who was in contact with a verified corona patient within the previous two weeks.
  3. Examinees may enter the Center up to half an hour before the beginning of the test. Examinees who arrive earlier than that may waiting in the lobby located on the ground floor of the building.
  4. Once the test is over, you must leave the Center as quickly as possible.

 

Information for examinees at the Technion:

  1. Fill out this health declaration on the morning of the test and present it at the entrance of the campus (printed or displayed on the screen of your mobile phone).
  2. When entering the Ulman Building, you must scan a barcode and note that you have entered the building. Please make sure you have installed a program on your mobile phone that allows you to scan barcodes.
  3. The Neve Shaanan Gate is open all the time. The Nesher Gate is open only from 05:45 until 18:00.
  4. There will be disinfecting wipes at the entrance to each classroom. Please use them to clean off your workplace and then throw the wipes into the trash.

 

Information for examinees at the University of Haifa:

  1. On the morning of the test, fill out a health declaration using the University of Haifa application (download the application for Android or iPhone). When you open the application, choose “Hebrew” for the language and then click on “Guest”.
  2. Alternatively, you may print this health declaration and fill it out on the morning of the test.
  3. You must present the completed declaration upon entering the campus.
  4. You may enter the campus through the Danya/Haifa Gate (the western gate, in the direction of Haifa) or through the Carmel Gate (the eastern gate, in the direction of Isfiya).
  5. Please take into account that it is about a 15-minute walk from the gate to the classroom where the test is being given.

 

Information for examinees at Tel Aviv University:

  1. Anyone who enters the campus must have his or her temperature taken; it is possible that there will be long lines at the entrances.
  2. There is no need to fill out a health declaration for this campus.

 

Information for examinees at the Kfar Maccabiah Hotel:

  1. Print this health declaration.
  2. Fill out the health declaration on the morning of the test and present it at the entrance to the campus.

 

Information for examinees at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem:

  1. To enter the campus you must either have a Green Pass from the Ministry of Health, a vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery, or negative results from a COVID test given not more than 72 hours before you want to enter the campus.
  2. You may enter the campus only by foot and only through Gates 1, 2, and 8.
  3. It is not possible to enter the campus by public transportation because of Light Rail construction. For your convenience, there are new stops for disembarking on Martin Buber Street and new stops for boarding on Binyamin Mazer Street. The campus’s main stops for disembarking continue to operate as usual (Martin Buber Street at the corner of Churchill Blvd.).
  4. There will be disinfecting wipes at the entrance to each classroom. Please use them to clean off your workplace and then throw the wipes into the trash.

 

Information for examinees at Ben Gurion University:

To enter the campus you must either have a Green Pass from the Ministry of Health, a vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery, or negative results from a COVID test given not more than 72 hours before you want to enter the campus.
